We utilize sound therapeutic techniques under the guidance and control of the Holy Spirit.

We believe a person should not be turned away due to their lack of financial resources, nor should the type of assistance they receive be dictated by their financial means.  However, we also believe that growing in financial independence and stewardship is a part of becoming healthy, therefore, we require that clients contribute according to their ability to pay.

OUR STAFF consists of carefully selected Christian individuals who are committed to their own spiritual and psychological growth as well as being gifted in their ability to assist others.  They are provided with the highest quality of training and supervision on a regular basis. The counselors at Journey Christian Ministries are not state licensed or affiliated with any secular agencies. They are ordained ministers, licensed or certified by the American Association of Christian Therapists, and the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals, both private credentialing organizations providing standards and accountability for Pastoral Counselors.

WE BELIEVE God created us in His image for the purpose of relationship.  But since we live in a world that is separated from God, people experience an inability to connect in relationship and they make choices that are contrary to God's purposes and destructive to themselves and others.  This is evidenced in relationship difficulties, addictions, sexual identity issues, depression, misconceptions of God and many other spiritual, psychological, and social problems.

OUR OBJECTIVE is to provide Christian ministry to help people grow in their relationship with God, and in their capacity for relationship with themselves and others.  This ministry is performed by highly trained clinical pastoral therapists.

WE ARE SUPPORTED primarily through tithes, offerings, donations from other churches, and sliding scale donations.
